FULL TIME - PLANT AREA MANAGER

We require an experienced plant area manager to join our busy team.
Alternate weekend working will be required, as well as additional hours if necessary during peak periods
Formal qualifications preferred but not essential.
As Plant Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the garden centre plant department. You will have a very good knowledge of plants, and willing to share your knowledge and promote your Plant Area Assistants.
Responsible for maintaining the highest standards in plant retailing

Key responsibilities include;

• Ordering / reserving plants as per seasonal requirements
• Excellent merchandising to maximise sales opportunities,
• Managing financial budgets,
• Good IT skills,
• Staff development and appraisal
• Great customer service and experience
